Why I made this

The reason

I built this for myself first, because I was tired of programs that tell you 'work up to a heavy triple' and leave the arithmetic and the honesty to you. The rules are written down. The spreadsheet does the maths. You just lift.

Andrew Valentine

Andrew Valentine builds systems for living, tools for thinking, and worlds for play — Homeostasis, Longbarrow, and The Grammar of Grappling.

More from Andrew

Homeostasis

A personal operating system that turns ambitions into executable days.

Longbarrow

A browser-native strategy world built around intent, terrain, and deterministic combat.

The Grammar of Grappling

The Mechanical Principles Behind Every Technique

One-to-one coaching

Direct coaching for people who want to be told what to do and why. Training, nutrition and scheduling built as one system rather than three separate plans that quietly contradict each other.

Nutrition system

Targets turned into meals turned into a shopping list. Not a meal plan you abandon in week two — a system that regenerates around what you will actually eat.

Why Longbarrow has no dice

Randomness in combat does not create tension, it teaches players that volume beats precision. Removing it moves the drama onto the decision.

The gap between two forecasts

Planning tools show you either the optimistic timeline or the realistic one. The useful number is the distance between them.
